All Levels

Roger Harris (Waihou Valley) Scholarship 

Closing Date:

17 March | All Levels | up to $6,000 

 To assist students whose families live in the Waihou-Piako area to study civil engineering or resource management with a particular focus on river and catchment management.    
Don Linklater Memorial Bursary 

Closing Date:

31 March | All Levels | $8,000 

 To support students from the Horizon鈥檚 region studying in a field relevant to Horizons work, including resource management, environmental planning, environmental engineering and modelling with particular emphasis on river and drainage basin dynamics.   
GCSB Women in STEM Scholarship 

Closing Date:

01 July & 01 October | All Levels | $10,000 

 For those who identify as female and are 18 years or older studying cyber security, technology, mathematics, computer engineering or computer science.   

Undergraduate Level

Keystone Trust Scholarships for Tertiary Students

Closing Date:

01 August | Undergraduate | $5,000 

 For undergraduates studying a construction-related degree.  

Postgraduate Level

The Dick and Mary Earle Scholarship in Technology 

Closing Date:

01 July | Postgraduate | up to $25,000 pa 

 To fund masters or doctoral research in innovation and product development and/or bioprocess technology.    
The Edward & Isabel Kidson Scholarship 

Closing Date:

01 October | Postgraduate | $6,000 pa 

 NZ graduates of good character with ability in physics or a combination of physics and mathematics, undertaking postgraduate study in meteorology or some other branch of science.    
Mercury Scholarship in Data Analytics 

Closing Date:

01 October | Postgraduate | $15,000 

 For individuals undertaking research in data science or data modelling, or another similar discipline.鈥�    
The Patrick Shannon Scholarship 

Closing Date:

28 November | Postgraduate | unknown value 

 For those committed to working in genetics or machine/analytical learning, or any other area of interest to LIC.    

Masters & Doctoral Level

The Sir Hugh Kawharu Masters Scholarship for Innovation in Science 

Closing Date:

31 August | Masters | $10,000 

Study at masters level in the sciences 鈥� including physical, mathematical and computational, earth, environment, marine, social, health, biological, biomedical, human, and behavioural sciences. 

 

RHT Bates Postgraduate Scholarship 

Closing Date:

31 July | Doctoral | $6,000 

For doctoral students studying physical sciences and/or engineering.
