Students will develop an understanding of how culture, heritage and New Zealand specific environments influence aspects of New Zealand life. Students will develop an awareness of historical events and how they have shaped New Zealand society, and will be able to use the acquired knowledge to analyse social, cultural, political and economic norms in a local and global context.
