This paper explores the theory of electrical circuits, frequency response, and their applications in signal processing.
It begins with a review of DC circuits before progressing to AC circuit theory, phasor diagrams, and polyphase circuits. The discussion then shifts to active and reactive filters, introducing the concepts of transfer functions and frequency response. The role of feedback in shaping amplifier performance is examined, followed by an introduction to advanced amplifier circuits. Next, we explore Linear Time-Invariant (LTI) systems and the application of Laplace transforms in circuit analysis including the study of transient and steady-state responses.
