Hamilton accommodation
With three halls of residence, apartments, cottages, studios and units, we have a range of options for all Hamilton students, from undergraduate to postgraduate.
Tauranga accommodation
For students studying at our Tauranga campus, you can stay in brand new, self-catered university accommodation in the heart of the city.
Summer accommodation
Summer 2025/2026 accommodation applications will open in October. More information will be available from September.
Homestay
Homestay is where you stay with a New Zealand family and learn more about the local culture. This is a great option for international students who want to improve their coversational english.
Flatting and private rentals
If you don鈥檛 want to live on campus, there are plenty of flats and rental properties. We recommend that if you choose to rent or flat that you move in early to get settled in before the trimester starts and always have your agreement in writing.

University Accommodation Pastoral Care
The University accommodation facilities provide a range of pastoral care support in accordance with the Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice 2021.
