Academic Orientation ran from the 2鈥�4 July and was specifically designed for new students to help settle them into University study. Essential presentations were hosted on campus for information and support for the first year of study, as well as provide plenty of fun activities throughout that week.

DisOrientation ran from 7鈥�13 July during the second week of ReOrientation. Hosted by the Waikato Students鈥� Union, DisOrientation was designed for both current and new students to have fun and make connections. There were activities, competitions, and prizes up for grabs.
