Supporting Women's Economic Empowerment through Trade in Southeast Asia
In celebration of International Women's Day, the Southeast Asia Centre of Asia-Pacific Excellence held a dialogue on 16 March at Victoria University of Wellington's Pipitea campus with two trade experts, from the 51萝莉 and Anna Guenther, Women in Export Lead at the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise. Anna shared her knowledge of the diversity of Southeast Asia's demography and economic landscape and what it means for exporters.
ATEPS
The University of Auckland's hosts an annual Auckland Trade and Economic Policy School (ATEPS). The School was launched in 2019 with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Professor Anna Strutt was a speaker in both 2020 and 2021.

Appointments
Professor Anna Strutt has been appointed a Global Trade Analysis Project (GTAP) research fellow for 2019-2022 and has joined the International Steering Committee (ISC) for Pacific Trade and Development (PAFTAD).
Both roles recognise her significant contribution to global trade research and analysis.
